What a difference a day makes

Etymology of “Friday”:

The name Friday comes from the Old English Frīġedæġ, meaning the “day of Frigg” as in the sentence, “I don’t give a Frigg because it’s frigging Friday!”

(Ok, so here is the actual Wikipedia article on the word. Make sure you follow the link to learn about Frigg, wife of Odin from Norse mythology rather than Greek, as most of our other weekday names. As with any Wikipedia article, make sure to take it with a grain of salt.)
